Prof. Peigao Duan is a post-doctor, doctoral supervisor at Xi’an Jiaotong University, I&ECR 2019 Influential Scholar, "Outstanding Talents in the New Century" of the Ministry of Education, Member of the Expert Committee of Shaanxi Province's High-level Talents China Energy Society (New Energy Expert Group), Member of China Renewable Energy Society, Member of Chinese Chemical Society, Member of China Institute of Chemical Technology, Member of American Chemical Society, Member of the Second Council of Henan Province's Industry-University-Research Cooperation Alliance in Chemistry, Chemical Industry, Biology, Food, and Pharmaceuticals.
Prof. Shahid Hussain is currently working as a professor (Full) at School of Materials Science and Engineering, Jiangsu University, China. He completed his Ph.D. degree at Chongqing University, in 2015, after starting a Post-Doctoral research fellowship from 2015 to 2017. He joined Jiangsu University as Associate Professor in July 2017 and based on his outstanding achievements and experiences, he was promoted to Full Professor in July 2020 and was approved by the state, Govt of China. Dr. Shahid Hussainand the project team has executed a lot of work in the field of metal oxide, sulfides, MXenes and metal-organic based gas sensors, supercapacitors and LiS Batteries. He has published high-quality research articles, and also has a wealth of experience, which laid a solid foundation for the project related research. Dr. Shahid Hussain has excellent working experience on gas sensors and has been working on sensor device fabrication since 2011. He has published more than 215 journal research articles indexed by SCI with H-Index is 34 in Google Scholar with 3850 citations(Till date Feb 2022)including Nano Energy, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Applied Materials & Interfaces, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Sensors and Actuators B, Chemosphere, Inorganic Chemistry, Journal of Cleaner Production, Applied Surface Science, Electrochemica Acta, Materials Science and Engineering, etc. He is also working as an Editor for 16 journals indexed by SCI(Elsevier, Springer, Frontiers, Hindawi, American Scientific Publishers, and MDPI).
Assoc. Prof. Zhanying Zhang is the leader of Bioprocessing and Biorefining Group at the Centre for Agriculture and the Bioeconomy (CAB), Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia). He is also an Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellow. Assoc. Prof. Zhanying Zhang graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2008. He joined the CAB, QUT after he completed his PhD study. He has been working on lignocellulose pretreatment and biorefining, cellulosic biofuels and biochemicals, biomass-based materials since 2008. He developed several solvent-based innovative processes for pretreatment and fractionation of lignocellulosic biomass, which led to a number of patent applications and journal publications. Currently, his group is also working on treatment and processing of various wastes including textile, sludge, animal keratin and food wastes for waste volume reduction, resource recovery and value-adding. Some biomass and waste processing technologies developed by Assoc. Prof. Zhang were licensed to Australian companies, which are currently under further development towards commercialization. Assoc. Prof. Zhang published about 80 journal articles, 4 book chapters and 6 conference articles. More than 80% of his journal articles were published on Q1 journals including Green Chemistry, ACS Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering and Bioresource Technology. According to Google Scholar, his publications were cited more than 2400 times with h-index of 26.
